Welcome 2009 New Ad Grads!
On behalf of the Advertising Graduate Council, we would like to congratulate the new first-year Ad Grads on their acceptance into the UT Advertising program.
The Advertising Graduate Council (AGC) is the official graduate student organization for Advertising graduate students. We help students get the best out of being a student at UT and living in Austin. Every semester AGC has a laundry list of activities and speaking engagements from industry professionals to make sure that its members are happy and informed about the advertising field.
AGC participates in intramural sports leagues for softball, football, volleyball, basketball and even dodgeball. We are also involved in a number of different service activities to give back to the Austin community. And what would AGC be if we couldn't mix business and pleasure? We have a lot of social activities and tailgates to network and make the most of our time at UT. In addition, each semester AGC members have an opportunity to travel to cities such as New York and San Francisco to visit some of the most esteemed ad agencies in the country.
